Web 2.0 has been proven to be a reliable to users of the internet. With this too I have been able to explore some of the tools that come along with it. The tools that have I have been able to explore were toondo and wiki spaces. Along with exploring those tools they have allowed me to see some new skills that will help me in the long run.
Toondo is a 2.0 application that allows users too create comic strips. Toondo has a variety of selections of characters and props. Toondo is a fun tool to use, it allows you to do a variety of things. While I was exploring toondo I posted some goals that I wanted for myself in the future. Will exploring toondo I was able to find out where I pictured myself to ten years. I found out that I wanted to be driving an Audi and that I would like to be wearing and suit to work everyday.
Another 2.0 tool that I was able to explore was wiki spaces. Wiki spaces is a collaborative tool. With wiki spaces you are able to post wikis on projects that you can share with others. When I explored wiki spaces I was able to talk about an interesting debate between my partner and me. We were able to speak and state our sides and also get other people’s opinion from around the world. Wiki spaces allowed me and my partner to put our points together an make and appealing argument. I can see myself using this tool again in the future with other topics.
Web 2.0 is a fun and good exploring tool. It has brought up the number of users on the internet. It has also help people with a lot of things. One thing it has helped me with is my academics. Web 2.0 has created search engines such as goggle, yahoo, aol, and etc. It has helped me learn some new things. With these new things that I’ve learned I will be able to use them later in my life time, and help have a better understanding of some of the tools I already knew. Web 2.0 has allowed me to come up with some career goals for myself, one is that I would like to have a good job so that I can afford an audi, and that I would like to work downtown and wear a suit and tie everyday.
With Web 2.0 I have been able to use tools that have helped me develop some skills that I could use within my career, and also why I’m in school. I had fun exploring, making wiki’s and making toondo.
